Trampolining (Amateur Competiton) Insurance FAQs
1. How am I covered if I injure myself whilst competing in an Amateur Trampoline competition?
If you sustain an injury while participating in a Trampoline Amateur Competition and need medical attention, you will be covered under the Medical and Emergency Expenses up to £5m.
2. If I sustain an injury before travelling to my Amateur Trampoline competition and can no longer travel, would this policy cover this?
Yes, our Gold and Platinum policies include Cancellation coverage if you were to get injured or fall sick before your planned trip and could no longer travel.
This will cover any pre-paid accommodation or flights up to the sum on the policy schedule.
3. How am I covered if I have to cut short my trip due to illness or injury and can not compete in the trampoline competition?
If you have to cut short your trip and can not compete in the tournament, you will be covered under the curtailment section of the policy.
4. Will the Trampolining Amateur Competition cover me for training?
Yes, this policy will automatically cover you for Trampoline Training and participating in the actual competition; it's always good to warm up and work on your routine before competing.
Most of the time, Trampolining competitions are combined with amateur gymnastics competitions.
5. Does this policy cover me for all forms of Trampolining, including stunting and tumbling?
Yes, the competition cover will cover you for all aspects of trampolining and routines, including stunting and tumbling.
6. Can my child travel independently without me?
Yes, of course, your child must always travel with an insured adult; this adult does not have to be insured with JS Travel Insurance.
7. I'm looking to cover my whole trampoline team. Is this possible?
Yes, we cover many teams per year, competing in Trampolining Amateur Competitions; we can cover all group sizes; when travelling, there must be one adult for every ten children.
We also cover many groups for Gymnastics and Cheerleading.
8. I'm part of the national team. Can I still get cover?
Yes, if you are part of Team England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, we can cover you as long as you do not hold a sponsorship contract and you are amateur level only.
9. I train and compete abroad multiple times yearly for trampolining; can I get an annual policy?
We offer Annual Multi-Trip for Trampolining Training and Amateur Competitions with a maximum trip length of 31 days at a time; this is a good option if you travel more than twice a year.
This will cover your travel as well as the Training and Competitions.
Please Note: If you are under 18, there must be an Adult on your Annual Policy.

10. can I still get cover for Trampoline Amateur Competitions if I have a pre-existing medical condition?
Yes, of course. Our provider, Adventures, offers cover for those with pre-existing medical conditions looking to compete in a trampoline competition.
Trampolining (Amateur Competition) Annual Multi-Trip Benefits
If you travel for Trampolining Training and Competitions multiple times throughout the year, then an Annual Multi-Trip Policy may be a better option.
31-Day Maximum Trip Length Days: Our policies allow you to travel multiple times a year for up to 31 days, including unlimited Trampoline Training and Competitions.
Convenience: You can save time with an Annual Multi-Trip policy; you don't have to do a single-trip policy every time you leave for Training or Competition.
It will include Travel Insurance Benefits such as Medical and Repatriation, Cancellation, Personal Baggage and More; you will be covered for an entire year.
Cost Effective: If you travel more than twice a year, having an Annual Multi-Trip Policy that includes your trampoline training, amateur competitions, and any leisure travel will save you money.
Peace of Mind: An Annual policy gives you peace of mind when booking your trips as you know you have a travel insurance policy in place, and it covers any emergency medical expenses relating to your trampoline training or competition as well as leisure travel.

Overseas Trampolining Trips
If you are a British Gymnastics / Trampoline Association member, you will need their permission to go on Trampolining Training Camps or if you are Competing abroad. The Form can be found HERE.
Please Note: The travel Insurance you get as a member is for 3rd Party Liability Insurance; it does not cover Travel Insurance, so you need to buy a JS policy.
Fill out and submit this Form (4 weeks before you depart the UK).
If children are going on the trip, then the club/school must have a designated Child Protection Officer within the group who has been trained.
