Where is it Best to do Off Piste Skiing?
There are plenty of resorts around the world that provide exciting off-piste areas. If the Resort is at a higher altitude, the chances are there will be lots of untouched snow.
You should be aware that off-piste skiing is against the law in some countries and should not be attempted. You could lose your ski pass or, even worse, find yourself in a prison cell for the night!
When you are off-piste, the dangers might not be obvious, such as hidden rocks and very thick where you might get stuck. It might be an idea to go with a Guide until you become familiar with the terrain.
Check the Weather Report
It looks at the day's weather report to see if Off Piste Skiing / Snowboarding is a good not. If there is heavy snow forecast or fog, this might not be the best time to go Off Piste.
Every Ski Resort will have Avalanche Warnings and Reports available, sore you check their website or go to the Resort Management Office for an update.

If you have been Skiing Off Piste before and may have had an injury or accident whilst taking part in Skiing Off Piste, you must declare this when purchasing a policy.
