Martial Arts Equipment
The abundance of different martial arts results in using a wide variety of equipment. Every competitive martial art requires one or more pieces of protective gear.
This is especially true for sparring sports such as Muay Thai and Kick Boxing.
Martial Arts equipment can range from protective gear such as headwear and gloves to specialised weaponry such as swords and sables. Additionally, training for martial arts is nearly impossible without additional equipment such as punch bags, free weights, wooden dummies, breaking boards, and skipping ropes.
Before You Travel
- Book your travel and accommodation. Competition locations can fill up quickly, especially for popular events.
- Pack light. You will likely be walking and carrying your gear, so pack what you need.
- Bring your competition gear, including your gi or uniform, mouthguard, shin guards, and any other required equipment.
- Don't forget your training gear. You may want to pack some light workout clothes and shoes so that you can stay active while you are travelling.
Excluded Martial Arts
Unfortunately, we cannot cover Mixed Martial Arts (Cage Fighting).
If you're unsure if this Policy will cover your Martial Art, please contact us so we can discuss this with you.
