Prepare for the Cold
- Gradually acclimate your body to cold water temperatures through regular cold showers or short immersions.
- Invest in appropriate gear, such as a wetsuit, neoprene cap, gloves and booties.
- Pack warm, dry clothes to change into immediately after your swim.

Warm Up Properly
