Common FAQs
1. What if I am already away on an Alpine Elements and I want to do a different Activity or one?
A - we can either add this to your existing JS Policy or if you already have insurance elsewhere we can cover you just for the day(s) you are partaking in that activity. Please note there may be an additional premium to pay here. This cannot be purchased online: you need to contact us to arrange it.
2. What are the main differences between the three types of cover: Silver, Gold, and Platinum?
A - The main difference is the excess on the £5m medical cover - its £500 on Silver, £100 on Gold but Nil on Platinum ( in fact Platinum has no excesses on it at all )
3. What are the Cancellation benefits on the Policy?
A - You can claim for Cancellation only on the Gold and Platinum Policies, in the circumstances where you become seriously ill and you cannot travel or if a close relative becomes ill before you are due to travel.
4. Am I covered under an Annual Policy when not traveling with Alpine Elements?
A - Yes you are, if you purchase an Annual policy then you are covered for other trips you make throughout the year
5. How do I get insurance if I have a medical condition that is not on JS Acceptable List?
A - You will need to contact us directly and we will arrange a Policty through another broker for you
