It would be best to have Travel Insurance in place to protect yourself and your travel companions while travelling in Europe.

Currently, there seems to be no lack of Holidays booked for 2023 in Europe by UK Residents.
To ensure that customers are treated fairly, we recommend that all travellers check Government advice and holiday/airline providers’ terms and conditions before travelling.
Important Information regarding Your Passport
You should ensure you have at least six months left on your passport for travel in Europe. If this is not the case, you may need to check with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office about your passport status.
It is always a good idea to check with each country you are visiting as they may have specific Regulations in place for British Passport holders.
Driving in Europe
There may be a requirement for UK drivers to have extra documentation, such as an International driver’s Permit. This is not the case in the Republic of Ireland.
Free Movement across Europe
The most significant change will be that when arriving at Passport Control, UK Residents will not be able to use the EU Nationals’ speedy check lanes. This could mean a more extended period of entering an EU country.
Travel Compensation
United Kingdom Residents can claim travel delays, cancellations, or trip abandonment. This is covered under specific EU Legislation. This has now changed, and UK Residents are no longer covered under this Legislation.
After Brexit
What will happen as the United Kingdom has left the European Union?
As mentioned in this article, you should purchase a Travel Insurance Policy.
We can provide cover on a Single Trip, or if you travel more than once a year, an Annual Multi-Trip policy or if you are planning a more extended period of travel, the Backpacker policy is available that will allow you peace of mind whilst travelling in Europe or elsewhere in the World.
